Prince of Wales Kennington Exterior 1

Last weekend I came here on a hen party for a stop off in the hope of playing penanque in the square. However due to the lovely weather all the space was taken up. This is a lovely little pub tucked in the corner of the square. We were on a Hen Party and extremely lovely of the manager who offered us two free jugs of pimms on him. It was such a lovely touch. We didn't eat here but we had a few bowls of chips and cheesy chips which were lovely, I'm sure the rest of the food is great here.

We visited today for the first time on the day of the Kennington Village Fete. We did not want to leave!! The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful and all the staff were prompt, courteous and engaging. A special mention has to go to 'Pete' the bartender. He really goes that extra mile and without a doubt brightens up your day, with his bubbly and fun personality. Would definitely recommend this pub to any of our family or friends and it will certainly be one of our first stops on our future trips to the City.

What a great little pub! It's right on the square, so you can go outside for a few drinks of the weather is nice. The Chardonnay was surprisingly good for pub wine, which I normally find impossible to drink. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Quaint, tiny local pub, on the corner of a lovely, quiet square. Feels like a country pub & has that atmosphere. Friendly staff.
